PMAV Clean up Day

PMAV Clean up day. No inner city Greenies in site.. Who will do this when these areas are OFF limits to all BUSH USERS?

ZVXyboijFeecgql-800x450-noPad

The 'Great' forest National Park. A play on words designed to pull on the heart strings of every environmentalist (me included). When you look into it, disaster for the economy, native wildlife and society.

Young hunter

Never too young to be a hunter, great family times out in the bush tracking.

Retail-Langhorne-Creek-SA-5255-Real-Esta

Small rural towns rely on bush user groups and a lot of them on gold prospecting and historical areas. Locking these areas will decimate rural economies.

fiv-map

Feral cat populations are escalating. But lets lock up the forests to save the native animals...for the cats to eat.

deer infestations in australia

If you overlay the proposed NP over this map, the deer populations will explode even more.

Everything in this photo would be banned in a NP.

The Laanecoorie Gold Bash is run by volunteers who are gold prospectors within these areas the government wants to lock up. Each year they have this 'Gold Bash' and raise anywhere up to $25,000 to battle cancer. Do the Greens do this or would they rather stop this type of behaviour?

Families enjoying playing in the sun and maybe finding some gold! No XBOX in sight..

Foxes in parks. The whole state should be red, but lets lock the gates on land! That will stop them!!

gold

Victoria was built on the back of gold and we still have huge quantities in the ground. Don't lock it up and replace high paying jobs with low paying tourist kiosk part time workers.

Another bush user's group collecting rubbish from these public lands. Not a NP ranger or Greenie in sight.

Some of our riding groups. They don't want to lose their children's access to ride these beautiful areas.

Kinglake NP closed gate

This is the Kinglake NP. Locked gate and the massive damage fire has done to the area. No fuel load reduction.

images

Logging is important to Victorian rural families, communities and Victoria. It is controlled, not out of control like Green groups would have you believe.

xLynnie with David Major

Many bush user groups actively remove rubbish from the bush. Here are the PMAV with a skip full of rubbish removed on one of their clean-up days

fox-bait-1

Expensive and dangerous (to native animals) baits and aerial shooting are the NP solution to feral animals.

Picture from the launch of the Dja Dja Parks Management Plan. Spot the prospector? You won't because there aren't any and they are now locked out of these areas!

locked bush

Another locked gate. Plenty of money to shut tracks, no money to manage these areas once they are locked away.

Closed gates, but no money available for proper locks or management.

feral-deer-map-700-exp

Feral deer in Victoria are almost as protected as native animals! The Greens would have you lock the gates to hunters and let these populations explode.

National Parks

National Parks are there for day tripping, bushwalkers. THAT'S IT!! NO DOGS HO HORSES NO PROSPECTING NO HUNTERS NO FAMILY CAMPING TRIPS...BUT PLENTY OF FIRES COME SUMMER

No more camping with National Parks

Well maintained signs in another under-managed NP. Look at the fuel load and overgrown tracks.

koala

Locking away access creates fire traps which kills more native animals than anything bush users do.
